Black Horse Run Chicken & Duck Petition

Intent: To petition the Black Horse Run Board of Directors to Vote to amend the Restrictive Covenants to allow chickens and ducks on resident properties with the following restrictions:

• No property may house Roosters.

• Maximum of 5 chickens and 2 ducks per half acre.

• Chickens and ducks must be maintained within a structured fence/coop. No free-range chickens or ducks outside of structured fencing/coop.

• Chickens and ducks must remain on their property only.

• Homeowner must maintain areas cleanliness to ensure no orders are present.

• All necessary structures must follow the guidelines listed in the Restrictive Covenants in reference to the Architecture Regulations and Review.

• Violations and complaints will be handled by the governing board or appointed committee. Repeated violations may include fines, actions to have property owner permanently remove chickens & ducks from the property or other legal action.
